When I was a child, my world existed on the floor.
I lined up small toy cars, pushed their worn bodies forward with my fingers,
and imagined endless roads that I had never seen.
They were not just toys.
They were machines filled with stories, speed, and quiet dreams.
As I grew older, the steering wheel became a controller.
After school, I spent countless hours racing old cars in video games with friends.
Winning didn’t matter much.
What stayed with me was the joy of choosing the same car,
sharing the same admiration, and listening to digital engines roar together.
Those moments became the soundtrack of my youth.
Today, I draw cars by hand.
Using watercolor pencils—an honest, unforgiving medium—I focus on classic cars.
Lines shake. Colors bleed. No drawing can ever be repeated.
But that imperfection feels right.
Classic cars are not perfect either.
They carry scratches, faded paint, rust, and decades of memories.
I am not interested in drawing “beautiful” cars.
I want to draw cars that have lived.
Cars that once belonged to someone,
cars that ran for a reason,
cars that still hold time within their bodies.
Every line I draw is connected to my past—
to the toy cars on the floor,
to late-night races with friends,
to the engine sounds that never left my heart.
On paper, these cars run once more.
Slowly. Honestly. Imperfectly.
Just like memories do.
The scent of metal.
The lingering trace of gasoline.
The quiet heat of an engine cooling down in a midnight garage.
While the world forgets these old machines,
I bring them back to life with watercolor pencils.
No digital trick can imitate the tremor in my fingertips.
Every stroke on paper sends a car’s lifetime back onto the road.
When the colors bleed, I see a rainy highway.
When the shadows deepen, I hear steel slicing through a mountain curve.
This isn’t photography.
It isn’t CGI.
It isn’t AI.
It’s a drawing —
yet somehow, you can smell the fuel.
You can hear the exhaust roaring in the back of your mind.
You remember the scenery you once saw from behind the wheel.
I don’t just paint “cars.”
I paint the souls that have survived miles, years, and storms.
Rust, scratches, fading paint —
they’re not flaws.
They’re proof.
Proof that the machine lived, and kept moving forward.
A brand-new car is beautiful,
but a car that has crossed countless nights
and still wants to run —
that is something far greater.
Watercolor pencils don’t allow lies.
If my heart wavers, so does the line.
In those few seconds before the color dries,
I pour everything I have into the page.
Otherwise, the old cars won’t answer me.
So I draw.
To start their engines again on paper.
To make sure the cars that can no longer run
still have a chance to ignite someone’s heart somewhere in the world.
Analog carries a heat the digital can’t fake.
Old gasoline cars carry memories nothing else can summon.
And art — art can save souls that would have been forgotten.
Welcome to my garage.
Here, the cars never stop.
They are still running.
